Aidar Almazov (father’s name = Almaz) is my wife’s nephew — a bright, hardworking, and deeply loved 25-year-old young man (DOB=JUL-28-2000). In 2024, Aidar’s life changed when he was diagnosed with CIC sarcoma below his right knee. What followed was a long and painful journey: resection surgery, a metal leg implant, chemotherapy, and radiation.
In early 2025, after months of medical treatment, Aidar could carefully walk again with a crutch. He felt victorious — like he had beaten the tumor and reclaimed his future.
But in October 2025, everything changed again.
Aidar’s leg began to bleed, and he was rushed back to the hospital. Doctors delivered devastating news:
the tumor had returned, and the metal leg implant could no longer remain in his body.
The treatments he had fought so hard through were no longer enough.
The young man who once felt like a survivor now faces fear, uncertainty, and the possibility of losing his life. Still, Aidar remains incredibly brave. He tries to stay optimistic and hides his sadness from others. But earlier this week, his mother found him crying alone in his hospital room — the moment every parent hopes they never witness. Aidar's mother called me asking for any help possible to move forward with the urgent surgery and treatment he now needs.
A Family Out of Options
Aidar is the oldest of five children. His mother works as a housekeeper; his father earns a low wage (a farmer). Before his illness, Aidar grew strawberries on his own small farm — his pride and livelihood.
To pay for his first round of treatment, his parents sold most of their assets they had:
• Their only two cars
• Their family farmland — Aidar’s future source of income
Now, with their savings gone and no assets left to sell, they cannot afford the next life-saving procedures: implant removal, final leg surgery, and additional chemotherapy.
Why We Need Your Help
Aidar no longer dares to dream about walking again. His only wish now is simple and heartbreaking:
to survive — even if it means losing his leg.
Your donation, no matter the size, will help give Aidar a chance to continue his fight.
Leg surgery, rehabilitation-therapy =18,000 USD
Chemotherapy = 6 sessions (1800 USD each).
Aidar is a fighter. But he cannot do this alone.
If you are able, please donate and share Aidar’s story with others. Every contribution brings him one step closer to another chance at life.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.
