Help Aidan Overcome Challenges and Achieve His College Goals

Donation protected
This is a college tuition fundraiser for my son Aidan.
He has been accepted into The Martin School of Public Policy and Administration, at the University of Kentucky, Lexington.
His high school GPA was 3.5 (non weighted for his AP courses) and his ACT score was 32.
Unfortunately, Aidan has some executive functioning challenges due to Autism (Asperger’s) and ADHD.
When he applied to UK, the application read “testing optional”, and with his literal brain, failed to send his ACT score. His guidance counselor didn’t catch it. He missed out on the Provost scholarship, which would have covered most of his tuition for 4 years.
He has spoken to the person in charge of scholarships t UK, and he was told the scholarships are awarded to incoming freshman and the funds have been allocated.
Life lessons can be hard, and expensive (loss).
He is an amazing young man, who has the admirable attributes of Intelligence, Honesty and Integrity. His plan is to become a Civil Rights Attorney. He despises corruption and unfairness. He believes all people should be treated fairly.
He has suffered his fair share of bullying and “not belonging”, as many with Autism endured.

He is hoping that more scholarship opportunities will present themselves this upcoming year. For now, he is hoping to secure some funding for his first semester .
He has landed a job at McDonald’s, and will be working part time during college to help pay for what he can. He reports that after one year of employment, McDonald’s has some tuition assistance program.
Thank you for taking the time to hear his story, and for any help you can offer!
