Hello, my name is Lisa and I have known Carla for 30 years. I see her daily struggles with her son Aidan not being able to do regular daily activities outside the home. Aidan is confined to a wheelchair and Carla does not have a wheelchair accessible vehicle. Carla has actively been looking for vehicles and the cost is relatively high so this Go Fund will benefit them greatly.
       On July 23, 2018, Aidan went in for a Shunt Revision Surgery and suffered a stroke during it. The Thalamus was nicked during the surgery causing  stroke. The Thalamus controls your nervous system and the extent of injury was not known for weeks after the surgery. Aidan ended up with his lungs severely damaged (causing breathing problems), he lost all control of his body, he is 100% wheelchair bound and he lost his personality. We were hoping that with intense therapy that Aidan would regain some mobility but unfortunately he has not and will likely not. 
       We would like to get Aidan back out into the community doing family activities and just enjoying life like any typical child. Anything you can donate to make our dream a reality would be greatly appreciated.
