Help Aid Robin’s Recovery from a Serious Assault

As many of you know Robin Allen was assaulted on Thursday, October 17.

The incident has had a major impact on him physically, mentally and financially.

Robin is a self-employed journalist and he was supposed to working in Oxford on Thursday evening, but because of the severity of his injuries he couldn’t work. It is unknown when he’ll be fit to work again because of the memory problems caused by the assault.

The Police couldn’t determine how his car key was damaged during the assault so they couldn’t push for a charge of criminal damage against the attacker.

This means Robin is having to cover the cost of a replacement key for his Motorbility vehicle on top of paying bills despite the loss of earnings.

At present, Robin can’t leave the house because he isn’t well enough physically or mentally.

He is supposed to be in Manchester on Tuesday which will hit him financially because tickets and travel costs can’t be refunded.

He is then due to be working in London and Leicester in the coming weeks, but if he’s unable to work, he will lose out on earnings.

All I want is Robin to be able to recover in his own time without a financial burden hanging over him because he’s unable to work.

Robin has never been in a situation like this before so watching him worry about his income and bills isn’t nice to watch.

Robin is my partner and has been through a lot , and lost a lot of work and had damage caused to his vehicle because of when he was attacked . I have added his details so he recieves the funds directly . All funds will be used to fix his car which is his only independence. And make sure he can cover day to day bills while he’s recovering and finding his strength to his feet .
