The Madlads are back! After nearly seven years, Madlads Productions return with a brand new play, Academonic, written by Kiran Arquin and directed by Jess Yates, that will be debuted at the 2025 Minneapolis Fringe festival. With an exciting script, an excellent cast local Minneapolis talent, and an amazing creative team behind it, we are looking at a smash return for the Madlad's crew. All we need is one more thing...you!

A horror/comedy about betrayal, success, the unsung perils of academia, and featuring the supernatural in a way we guarantee you've never seen before, Academonic has been in slow development for the last few years, but has sprung to life through the opportunity provided by Fringe. Getting a chance like this is one of the best things that could have happened, so the team wants to give it the biggest advantage it can, and we cannot do that without your donations. We are humbly asking any and all willing for their help to aid in the flourishing of emerging theater artists here in the Twin Cities.

But that's not all! As a donor, you will be recognized! Every backer will be mentioned and thanked in the program, as well as sent a small gift as a sign of the Madlad's gratitude.
