Help Aid In Marleys fight Against A Life-Threatening Disease
Donation protected
Today, I'm reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for support of my dear friend, Eman, and his courageous 11 year old daughter, Marley. She is faced with a serious medical condition called Severe Aplastic Anemia (SAA). It is a life-threatening illness that requires treatment to reduce the risk of death. During the process, she had chemo-treatment radiation, and was hospitalized close to 100 days. Marley stated, "Losing my hair was one of my worst moments." The doctors have mentioned that she has overcome many life-threatening situations that other children have not survived.
She is required to make doctors appointments, which is also challenging since her grandmother suffers from stage 3 (Kidney failure) and have to share 1 vehicle. At times, grandma has to postpone (sacrifice) her doctor appointments for Marley's. Their house is in need of remodeling: Bathroom and Kitchen, to accommodate their families needs.
Eman has Exhausted EDD (family medical leave) from work to care for both his mother and daughter after his step-father recently passed away. Further more, he received full-custody of Marley after a lengthy court battle that impacted his finances and ongoing legal fees.
As the medical bills continue to mount, they are finding it difficult to manage the financial burden. Your generous contribution can make a significant difference in alleviating the stress of these expenses and allowing them to focus on what truly matters-Marleys recovery and well-being.
On a personal note, watching my 13 year old daughter and Marley grow up together, its like a piece of our friendship (15 years) and shared experiences reflected in their own friendship. I cherish the moments they play together. That is why it is easy for all of us to feel their pain, and could only imagine what he and Marley are going through over this past year. All donations, big and small is incredibly meaningful and will make a significant impact in helping his family.
