The man in this picture is my brother, Adam. You hear about gun violence all the time, but you rarely think it will happen to you or someone in your family. Yes, that's him, slumped over the front of his motor vehicle at a stop sign, bleeding from a gunshot wound, alone. This picture says it all. At an intersection in the Antelope Valley, he became the victim of a random shooting, and thank God he is alive!! They also caught the perpetrator because of a good Samaritan who circled back, called the ambulance, and informed the police.

However, Adam is self-employed. Since this injury last week, he has been struggling to run his business because of the nerve damage and pain the bullet wound caused. He is used to being able-bodied, strong, capable, and one of the most generous people I know. That is why I am organizing this GoFundMe, to get him over the hump.
