Support for Ahykra Jackson & Her Children After Tragic Accident

1 week ago, our dear colleague and friend Ahykra Jackson, a devoted mother of three and a passionate public servant, was involved in a tragic car accident that left her with serious injuries to her face, nose, and eyes.

By the grace of God, Ahykra survived. She now faces a long and challenging road to recovery, including extensive medical treatment, ongoing care, and time away from work.

Ahykra is not just a dedicated employee at the Office of Multicultural Affairs and Community Engagement here in Suffolk County. She is the heart of her department. She has spent years advocating for underserved communities, showing up every day with compassion, energy, and an unwavering commitment to making a difference. Now, it is our turn to show up for her.

This fundraiser is being created to help cover the significant medical expenses, loss of income, and day-to-day costs as she focuses on healing while continuing to care for her three children.
