Hi everyone! This is our girl, Ahsoka. After a rough couple of weeks bringing her back and forth to the vet, trying to figure out what was going on with her, she had to be rushed into emergency surgery. A CT scan revealed a hole in her stomach, and when the surgery started, the surgeon found a lot of strange tissue that had formed around her stomach. We almost lost her, but fortunately, they were able to remove all the tissue and close up her stomach. However, she is now left with only 50% of a functioning stomach. Prior to knowing she needed surgery, we had spent a fair amount of money on her X-rays, the CT scan, and all of the monitoring, bloodwork, and medicine that came with her treatment. However, then once we found out she needed emergency surgery, we were hit with a substantial bill and had to plan for spending even more money keeping her in the ICU for a few days after while she recovered.

At the time of writing this, she is doing great! She's still recovering in the ICU, but she is alert and holding down food as she gets used to her decreased stomach capacity. We would do anything for her and will continue to do so with or without this GoFundMe, but as the bills continue to rise, we would greatly appreciate any amount of support.
