Help Ahmed’s Family of Eight Survive the War in Gaza
My name is Ahmed, and I live in Gaza, Palestine with my family of eight. For the past two years, our lives have been consumed by war, fear, and survival.
I never imagined I would be in this position reaching out to the world for help. But the truth is, I can no longer protect and provide for my family on my own. The war has taken everything from us except our will to keep going.
Two Years of Endless Suffering
In Gaza, life has been a constant nightmare. For two years, we have lived under bombings, destruction, and siege. We have lost neighbors, friends, and family members. Homes have been reduced to rubble. Streets once filled with children’s laughter are now filled with dust and silence.
My own home has been damaged, and every day, I fear that it will be completely destroyed. We live with the constant sound of airstrikes and gunfire. My children go to bed scared and wake up scared. No child should live like this.
Struggling Just to Survive
Because of the war, there is no work, no income, and no stability. Prices of basic food have skyrocketed beyond reach. Bread, rice, vegetables, even clean water all have become luxuries.
My family of eight often goes to bed hungry. We share what little food we can find, but it is never enough. My children ask for things that most families take for granted fruit, milk, even a piece of chicken and I have to tell them no. The pain of looking into their eyes and saying “I can’t” is unbearable.
We have no secure shelter, and when the bombs fall, we have nowhere safe to hide. Our lives are in danger every single day.
Why I Am Asking for Your Help
I am asking for urgent humanitarian support to help my family survive this crisis. Your generosity can:
Provide a safe place for my family to live
Supply food, clean water, and daily meals
Cover basic needs for my children, including clothing and school supplies
Help us access medicine and healthcare when we are sick
Your donation no matter how small will have an immediate and life-changing impact. It can be the difference between going to bed hungry and having food on the table. It can mean my children feel safe, even for a moment.
Stand With Gaza, Stand With Humanity
We are not numbers. We are people mothers, fathers, children trying to survive in impossible conditions. For two years, we have endured this suffering, but with your help, we can keep going.
Please, if you are reading this, I ask you to stand with us in our darkest time. Donate if you can. Share our story with your friends, family, and community. You never know who might be able to help.
From my heart, thank you for caring, for reading, and for giving hope to my family.
