Hi world , it’s Ahmed
My name Ahmed Jamal, a 27-year-old dentist from Gaza Strip. The ongoing terror and suffering my family and I have endured in the past several months during the ongoing Genocide in Gaza Strip are beyond words. The dreams and ambitions of living a decent life have been shattered by the relentless war that has engulfed our lives.
And after a whole 6 years of studying and internship
with 5 years of scientific and practical experience the war had another idea
Five years ago, I graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Palestine with many goals and aspirations,
and I worked as teaching assistant to learning the dental student and then worked at UNRWA team.
However, on the 7th of October 2023, our lives were forever changed as we woke up to the sounds of military aircraft and heavy bombings. Forced to flee our home in Tel Al-Hawa to the Nuseirat refugee camp, we faced unimaginable challenges.
As a family of seven, including my parents, four siblings
(3 Triplet's), and my sister's daughter,
Jamal Faraj (Father) age 60 years old, retired from employment in the field of oral and dental health.
Basema Faraj (Mother) age 57 years old, housewife.
Ahmed Faraj, age 27 years old, dentist.
Nouran Faraj, Age 27 years old, English teacher, her daughter / Layan, age 6 years old.
Karim Faraj, age 27 years old, architect.
and
Amir Faraj, age 23 years old, architect.

we struggled to survive in the camp, far away from home. Basic necessities became scarce due to the closure of border crossings, and we had to work tirelessly to secure water and food for our survival after we lost almost everything, During this war and at many times, we lost a number of my family members (father’s family).
Despite the hardships, I continued to help others in need, providing dental treatment and volunteering at shelter centers. However, the constant threat of death and displacement loomed over us, pushing us to the brink of despair.
My sister Nouran has recently faced a loss of income as a teacher and has turned to utilizing her talent in creating handmade products. She specializes in crochet, making clothes, bags, and toys with love and dedication. Despite the challenges she faces, Nouran finds joy in her craft and is committed to providing her daughter with all the essentials she needs. As a single mother, she shoulders the responsibility of raising her 6-year-old daughter alone, without any external support. This little girl has been deprived of the simple joys of life and struggles to cope with the harsh realities of her circumstances, including the lack of education, a stable home, healthcare, and security. Nouran works tirelessly day and night to fulfill orders promptly, often dipping into her savings to procure the necessary materials.
yet again , we find ourselves in Deir Al-Balah, displaced and uncertain about the future. My dental clinic is gone, my siblings are jobless, and our house is a distant memory. The war has taken everything from us, but we refuse to lose hope.
With your support, we can rebuild our lives and create a better future for my family and me, after a long journey of suffering of what we went through during the Gaza crisis
your generosity will help us secure a safe place to call home, restore my dental practice, and provide for our basic needs
