Hello, my name is Ahmed Khreis, I'm 36 years old, married with three children, and I live in the Gaza Strip. I used to live peacefully in my beautiful home in Khan Younis with my family.

I owned a startup company and had several websites covering a variety of topics.

My family and I were devastated when the Israeli Air Force targeted and bombed our home on October 20, 2023. It was a miracle that we all survived the attack. Since that day, we've been moving from place to place, and we've narrowly escaped death several times due to Israeli bombing in different areas where we lived. We're currently living in a tent, but we're unstable because of the ongoing Israeli aggression and the blockade, despite the declared ceasefire.

Life is extremely difficult, and we struggle to secure our basic needs. Life in Gaza seems impossible these days, especially after I lost my job during the months of war. After days of war and siege, we spent all our savings and are now struggling to feed our children. I suffer from kidney problems due to the war and need surgery, which I haven't been able to have yet.

My children are also suffering from various illnesses due to the war and food insecurity. My daughter, Dana, has developed epilepsy and needs daily medication, proper healthcare, and community support. My son, Amir, has bowed legs and needs surgery.

All we want is a better life for our children. We need a fresh start. We need to save these innocent lives.
