I am Ahmed Adham from Gaza, I am 18 years old.

I hope you will take the time to read my story and help my family.

We have been displaced for more than a year. My family of 8 people – 5 sisters, my father, my mother, and myself, all live together in a small tent. Since October 2023, we have been displaced more than 15 times from Khan Younis to its center, the sea, and to the east. We went to Rafah and were displaced from there as well, and we were once again displaced to Khan Younis. My family and I live in the worst conditions, my friends; no one is doing well. I am the one who helps my poor family most of the time. Along with supporting my family, I am also a social activist. I have been working hard to distribute water and hot meals to the other displaced families here in Khan Younis. It is getting to be very cold here and we are all slowly starving because the price of flour and other goods has skyrocketed.

My father suffers from cerebral sclerosis and needs to buy expensive medications to stay alive. I wish for you, my friends, to stand by my family and my people, for you are great. Please stand by my family and may God reward you with the greatest gift. I hope you will donate so that I may be able to support my family and my community as we struggle to survive this horrible situation.

This fundraiser is organized by Quinn Cox. I am from Austin, Texas. I met Ahmed online and have spoken to him every day for several months. His last fundraiser was frozen and I volunteered to create this new one for him. His situation is increasingly dire as temperatures have begun to drop in Gaza. As his sponsor I am responsible for ensuring that these funds are transferred to him so he can purchase food and clothing for his family and medicine for his sick father. In the past I have sent him money to purchase these goods and he has always sent me photos of the purchases and the receipts. I have also video chatted with him. He is a wonderful young man who is going through the unimaginable with a smile on his face. Please help us to support his family. Thank you and God bless.
