I am Ahmed Shameya, I’m a 30-year-old Palestinian independent activist from Gaza. My family consists of 8 members.

Before the war, I used to work as an English-Arabic language translator, an independent Journalist, and an editor, and was earning my income until the beginning of the war.

I have been learning the English language for more than ten years to reach out to people worldwide to tell them about our suffering in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip.

My family lives in extreme poverty caused mainly by the siege imposed on Gaza by Israel for 17 years.

All my family depends on me to bring money as my father died due to a lack of medicine in Gaza from leukemia.

I believe each family in Gaza has its own tragic story! However, here is my family's story due to the war in Gaza:

The war started on the 7th of October and I live in Khan Younis city southern Gaza Strip, I was living in A small house with my

Mother, father, sister, husband and my daughter, we have been expelled from our small home many times and we now live in a tent for more than 3 months, after the Israeli forces gave us another evacuation request from our houses in khan Younis and now i became HOMLESS and we live in a tent in the street.

I was trying so hard before the war to live with my family and I couldn't manage to find a job that would help me to feed and build a house for my family.

I have been suffering from poor eyesight, and I LOST my right eye and the doctor removed my right eye as a result of the Israeli war in Gaza Also I have Intraocular pressure and Retinal detachment in my left eye,.

We have barely been able to earn money to cover our living expenses due to the war, Our life is so horrible. It's even beyond awful. My heart tore each moment I saw my family dreaming of a decent life, but our dream has been smashed due to the war and after my house was destroyed we have a large family, and now we are in the tents. Thus, I feel so desperate.

We have been putting in thousands of plans with my family to live in our house We’re now in a place of refuge in KhanYounis city, where the

minimum necessities of life are not available. There is no clean water, healthy food, or anything suitable for living After we saw our life destroyed by Israeli forces we have this final plan, and I hope it will work to form the most fantastic surprise for my family:

Now I am launching this campaign, hoping it makes our dream come true again, and rebuild our house I'll do my best to reach out to every single person who would help me to rebuild my life.

How the donation will help me: The donation will come to me and I will start rebuilding our life after the Israeli forces destroyed it, We will buy food, and we will buy a good tent because our tents are worn
