Help Ahmed his family escape the war in Gaza to Egypt

Hi I'm Nadia Nemi, I live in Germany. I met my dear friend Ahmed and his beautiful family through social media. Next he will tell his story.

My name is Ahmed, from the Gaza Strip. I live in the city of Khan Yunis. I am 20 years old. My family consists of 9 people:

My grandmother, My mother is 48 years old, my father is 50 years old, 3 sisters, Rasha, 23 years old, Dareen, 20 years old, Shams, 13 years old, and 2 brothers, Muhammad, 17 years old, and Mamdouh, 10 years old.

I was not able to complete my university studies because of the war. From the Gaza Strip.

My mother takes chronic medication, she had her thyroid gland removed, my father suffers from cartilage and my grandmother has a heart condition. I was not able to complete my university studies because of the war. We were displaced from our home in the first moments of the war, and now I am displaced, homeless and without a home. We live with suffering in all its forms. It is a shock to lose your home, your memories, your childhood and everything disappears in a moment. It is difficult to ask for help from others, but I personally am in dire need of your help and support to overcome this difficult period in my life and to be able to meet my family's needs for food, water and medicine. We were displaced from our home in the first hours of the war, and currently we live in a tent and lack the basic necessities of life. I will spend the money collecting my travel costs to get out of Gaza to Egypt, and bringing food, drink and medicine to my family. It is difficult to ask for help from others, but I desperately need your help.

The situation in Gaza is getting desperate. So, I want to try to raise money so that this family can go to Egypt and start a new life away from the war.

Currently, the war escape fee is $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child. The money raised will be used as follows:

- $5,000 to cover some of their living expenses while they are in Gaza, such as water, food, medical assistance, clothing and shoes (among other things).

- $35,500 for evacuation fees.

- $5,000 for rent and living expenses in Egypt so that the family can deci

de what to do next.

-$5,000 to cover moving costs.

-$5,000 to cover medical expenses.
