Help Ahmed Bakr's Family Survive

Hello my friends. I am writing to you on behalf of my friend, Ahmed Bakr. He and his remaining family members are sheltered in a tent now after their family home was destroyed. His father was killed in war and young Ahmed does what he can to help provide for his family's needs now. Since this tragedy began he has also lost other family members, including his mother. Everything has become so expensive that they are struggling with basic necessities due to the ongoing crisis. His sister is fighting for her life in the remains of a hospital and her health continues to decline. When the border was open (we hope it will be open again soon), it was $5k per person to evacuate alone, but costs continue to increase. Food, medical supplies, everything has increased astronomically in price.
