Help Ahmed, a 17-Year-Old Palestinian Boy and His Siblings Rebuild Their Lives

Although the war in Gaza has finally come to an end, the pain and suffering for so many innocent families is far from over.

My name is Amina Bader, I’m 22 years old, and I’m currently studying Film at Norwich University of the Arts. I live in Norwich, and my mum lives in Qatar, where she works as a doctor. Through her work, she recently met Ahmed Bashir Jabr, a 17-year-old Palestinian boy who is currently undergoing treatment in Qatar after losing his leg during the two years of devastating violence in Gaza. His story is one of heartbreaking loss and unimaginable resilience.

During the war, Ahmed lost both of his parents in a bombing that left him and his three younger siblings ( younger brother pictured above) completely alone. While he was evacuated to Qatar for medical care, his younger brother and two little sisters were left behind in Gaza, seeking safety wherever they could. For months, they survived under the stairs at Nasser Hospital, one of the few places offering shelter to displaced families.

Now that the war has ended, the hospital can no longer provide refuge, leaving them stranded and homeless. These young siblings have already endured more than any child should, and they urgently need a safe place to stay.

We are raising funds to purchase a tent that will give them at least some shelter and stability during this difficult time. The cost of a tent is £800, and every donation !!! no matter how small !!! will go directly towards Ahmed and helping these children find safety and comfort while they wait for a more permanent solution.
