My name is Ahmed. I’m 24 years old and the only provider for my family of 17 in Gaza. For over a year and a half, we’ve endured a brutal war that stripped us of everything—our home, our livelihood, and our safety. We live with no clean water, barely any food, and whatever is available is priced beyond reason.

Before the war, I was a passionate and talented football player—my teammates called me “The Striker.” My dream was to play professionally for a big club. Football was my escape, my joy, my future. But during the war, I suffered a shoulder dislocation, and life turned into a fight for survival. I now carry water, search for food, and do anything I can to keep my family alive.

My passion, like so many dreams in Gaza, was buried under rubble and responsibility.

My mother is fighting cancer. My father suffers from heart disease and diabetes. He needs constant medication and urgent surgery that we cannot afford. I was also a university student, just one year away from graduation—but war ended that too. I’ve resisted asking for help for as long as I could. But now, after 18 months of relentless hardship, with every option exhausted, I turn to you. Your support means survival.

Your donation is not charity—it’s a chance to rebuild a life that war tried to erase. Please… help us survive. Help us hope again.
