Hello, my name is Ghailan Al-Khalaf. I live in Sweden and I am raising funds to help my friend.

He is very special to me and I consider his family mine. We have been friends for over 7 years now and I have witnessed all the hardships he has faced. He has lost his family house twice before, but he and his amazing brothers never gave up and kept on rebuilding. However, now they face a new challenge as nobody is safe in their current location. Sadly, we think the only option left is to find a safe place for them so that they can start building their new lives again.

This is Ahmed's story:

Meet Ahmad Fteha (sitting beside his mother), a resilient Palestinian from Gaza, whose life story is a testament to courage, hope, and the power of perseverance. Once an ambitious accountant striving to build a better life for his family despite the challenges of living under blockade and occupation, Ahmad's dreams were shattered when war ravaged his home, leaving him displaced and uncertain of the future.

Forced to flee their home in Gaza amidst the chaos of conflict, Ahmad, his family, and their beloved cat found temporary shelter with a compassionate family in the south. However, the horrors of war followed, narrowly escaping the devastation as their former neighbors' home was bombed, leaving them to rebuild their lives once again from the rubble.

Now, Ahmad dreams of a life beyond the confines of conflict, where his family can live in peace and safety. With your support, Ahmad hopes to secure the means to travel outside Gaza, where he can provide his family with the education and opportunities they deserve, free from the constant threat of violence and destruction.
