I write to you today with a plea for help in the face of unimaginable suffering and devastation in Gaza City. I’m ahmed a 27-year-old doctor who, like many others, has been caught in the crossfire of a gravely dangerous war that has raged on for the past five months.

Before this war descended upon us, my life was filled with promise and hope. I had recently graduated from medical school abroad and returned to Gaza City two years ago with dreams of serving my community and building a successful career as a doctor. However, the outbreak of conflict shattered those dreams in an instant.

My family's home, along with my own, was reduced to rubble by relentless airstrikes. The hospital where I worked, Naser Hospital, was invaded and rendered inoperable, leaving countless lives hanging in the balance. The life I had envisioned for myself, filled with love, success, and purpose, was replaced by a dark nightmare of displacement, fear, and despair.

Today, my family and I live in constant fear for our lives, trapped in a place that no longer resembles a home but rather a war zone where death lurks around every corner. We struggle to afford even the most basic necessities, as our resources have been depleted and our livelihoods destroyed.

We have been forced to abandon everything we once held dear and now seek only one thing: safety and the chance to live in peace. That is why I am reaching out to you, dear friends, with a humble request for your support.
