Ahmed Ali Ibrahim is a father of 6 children living in Egypt.
He's had a stroke before and he needs blood transfusion as he’s blood levels are at critical levels. He suffers from diabetes and swollen prostate glands that need operating. He is bleeding internally and needs examination to find the source of the loss of blood.
A family member said
"We took him to hospital and they did some blood tests and gave him drips because he was really in a bad condition.
We found out that he needs blood transfusion ASAP and that he needed to be admitted, but they didn't want to admit him because we didn't have enough money. They told us he will die if he didn't have the transfusion but yet they refused him until we pay 12000 Egyptian Pounds (~$650). So we took him to another hospital and they asked for 15000 (~$850). Subhanallah no Rahma.
One of the sisters made them stay in her home for the night as he couldn't climb up the stairs in his building. Subhanallah was very weak and trembling...
Alhamdulillah now he's in one of the government hospital..."
So he's in a hospital now Al-Hamdulillāh, but they have yet to operate and do anything with him. The operation itself will cost around $3000 and we'd like to provide them another $3000 to help the family for a few months until the father can work again InshāAllāh. The extra $300 is to take care of the GoFundMe fees InshāAllāh.
Al-Hamdulillāh, we are in the month of Ramadhān. The month of Mercy and where the reward is greatly amplified. So these acts of sadaqah and helping someone in need would InshāAllāh be amplified 70 times! Then, imagine the Du'ā this family in need would make for the people who aided them. And because you've shown mercy on this family, Allah will show mercy on you on the Day of Accountability (يوم الحساب) as mentioned in the hadeeth InshāAllāh.
"حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ الْكِنْدِيُّ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم: مَنْ رَحِمَ وَلَوْ ذَبِيحَةً، رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ."
Abu Umama that the Messenger of Allah, (ﷺ), said, "Anyone who shows mercy, even to an animal meant for slaughtering, will be shown mercy by Allah on the Day of Rising."
