Ahmed Al-Halabi: A Father’s Struggle at Survival in Gaza
Donation protected
My name is Adriene from Kansas, and I’ve been in contact with Ahmed Al-Halabi in Gaza for months. He befriended me after seeing my Facebook profile photo of the Palestinian flag. We have communicated many times with him sharing the extreme hardships of loosing his mother due to the genocide, his disabled brother passed away due to lack of food & medications. He has nowhere to turn but to the plea of strangers to have mercy on him & his five children. His sister lost her husband in the genocide also, so now he is trying to provide for her children as well.
My name is Ahmed Al-Halabi, and I am a father of five from Gaza. For the past 15 years, I worked tirelessly to provide for my family, ensuring that they had food, shelter, and a safe life. But everything changed when war struck Gaza.
In the war, I lost my beloved mother. The conflict not only shattered my family but also destroyed my job and our home. Forced to flee under military orders, my family and I escaped to southern Gaza. Now, we live in a disaster-stricken area, in a tent with no access to basic necessities.
I now find myself responsible for not only my wife and children but also my siblings and my sister, who lost her husband during the war. The conditions we are living in are unimaginable. Every day, I struggle to provide food, clean water, and safety for my family, but the situation makes it nearly impossible.
Despite the hardship, I refuse to give up. I am doing everything I can to protect my children and offer them a dignified life. But I can’t do this alone. Your support can help me provide essential needs for my family as we try to rebuild our lives after this devastating war.
I ask every one of the angels of mercy to look at my family’s situation with compassion.
Donating even a little might work a miracle for my family.
I hope that whoever can make a video and post it on social media will do so without hesitation for the sake of my children.
If you have any questions, I am ready to answer.
