Help Ahmed Abu Amer Survive The Genocide in Gaza

Ahmed Abu Amer in his words:

My name is Ahmed Abu Amer, I am 32 years old. I am from Gaza.

My wife Maria and I were married during the escalation of the genocide, but could not have a wedding because of the continuous bombing.

Israel bombed our home and place of employment. We have been "displaced" (pushed out of our home by Israel) many times.

Currently, my wife and I are "displaced", living in a tent in Khan Yunis.

Israel calls where we are now "safe areas", but Israel bombs the safe areas too.

Before Oct 7th, I had a career. But I lost my job due to the genocide.

I dream of my wife and I being able to survive the genocide and evacuate from Gaza to Egypt so that I can live in safety.

It is winter in Gaza and my wife and I are in danger of freezing to death. There is also a famine brought about by Israel prohibiting food entering Gaza, and my wife and I are also in danger of starving to death.

Please donate so my wife and I can survive the genocide. Your donation will go towards food, shelter, and to cover evacuation costs once the border at Rafah opened.

About the organizer:

My name is Danielle Murray and I am the Executive Director at Lake Erie Film Commission, a 501(c) nonprofit dedicated to mentoring, promoting, and funding Erie County, Ohio filmmakers.

Since realizing the genocide in Gaza was, in fact, a genocide, and not a "war" or a "conflict" my nonprofit's mission has shifted to what I believe ALL of our missions should be: helping families in Palestine survive the genocide.

LEFC's main way to help families survive the genocide is to fundraise for these families in Gaza, including Ahmed and his family.

The money will be distributed for these families to buy necessities for these families such as food, shelter, medicine, and cover evacuation costs, once the border at Rafah opens.

We are using the platforms Go Fund Me, like Ahmed's campaign, and the platform "Chuffed".

We hope that Go Fund Me can collaborate with us in helping Ahmed promote Ahmed's campaign and by sharing Ahmed's story.

At the time of writing this, Go Fund Me has not promoted a SINGLE family from Gaza, who are forced to raise money on account of Israel having bombed their home.

I think you will agree that this is not right.

It is truly up to ALL OF US, to do our part to end the genocide in Gaza and we trust that Go Fund Me will make the right decision and agree to promote Ahmed's Go Fund Me, who is a true Gazan hero and deserves 100% Go Fund Me's support and collaborative effort
