From Ahmad: Hi, my name is Ahmad Abuhaloub. I am a citizen of Gaza displaced with no home and no income. My family and I have nothing. I am daily offer circus entertainment for innocent children and risking myself from one place to another between the shelter centers.

From the very first day, we were displaced by war and the bombing of our house. We fled to Al-Fakhoura School, affiliated with UNRWA, in northern Gaza. However, the occupation forces bombed the school, committing a massacre. My family and I miraculously survived. We then walked to Faisal School in the northern Gaza Strip, where we lived for a month.

While we were at Faisal School, the Israeli army threatened to bomb it as well. In northern Gaza, the occupation dropped leaflets urging us to move to the southern Gaza Strip. During this time, I was performing circus shows to entertain the children and alleviate their stress from the war. Tragically, my colleague, the clown, was killed when his neighbors’ house was bombed.

After my friend Nasr was martyred, I traveled alone to southern Gaza, to the city of Deir al-Balah. Meanwhile, my family was still in northern Gaza. The Israeli army established a barrier between northern and southern Gaza, cutting off contact with my family. Despite this, we managed to walk on foot from northern Gaza to Deir al-Balah.

After the Deir Al-Balah city, we arrived at the shelter centers, where two months, the army entered the outskirts of Deir al-Balah, we went after to the city of Rafah and we were in Rafah without a home. The Israeli military forced the evacuation of the city of Rafah, so now we are gone away again to the city of Deir al-Balah and did not find a secure place and now once again must return to Rafah.

Now, the Israeli army has entered the city of Rafah, which was supposed to be a safe haven for displaced people. We are currently in great danger and, unfortunately, there is no safe place left for me and my family to go in southern Gaza.

The cost of food is high and supplies are not available without money. We cannot survive like this, my family and I are facing extreme poverty. Please help us.
