My name is Semah from Chicago, Illinois, USA.
I’m creating this campaign for my friend Ahmed, a 21-year-old student from Gaza, who lost his home and university during the war.
Although the bombing has stopped, life in Gaza remains extremely difficult. Ahmed and his family are struggling every day to afford food, clean water, and basic needs. He also dreams of returning to his studies and rebuilding the future that was taken from him.
Message from Ahmed:
Hello kind people around the world,
I am Ahmed, a 20-year-old university student from the middle of the Gaza Strip.
Before the war, I was studying computer science, a field I truly loved. I had many dreams—to learn, to create, and to make a difference in the world.
But the war destroyed everything:
my home, my university, and my family’s small restaurant—our only source of income.
Now, my family and I live in very hard conditions, trying every day just to find food, water, and safety.
Even though the war has ended, the struggle continues. I’m doing my best to stay strong and to help my family survive, but we have lost so much.
Your support means everything to us.
Every donation, no matter how small, will help us cover our daily needs and bring me closer to continuing my education—to rebuild my life and my dreams.
Thank you for your kindness and humanity.
With love and hope,
Ahmed
