In April 2021, our young brother was the victim of a shooting in Baltimore City, MD. Ahmad was shot multiple times, one on the right elbow causing radial nerve damage resulting in his right hand to not fully function, one on his left wrist, fracturing it completely, more shots on his chest fracturing his rib cage. He underwent multiple surgeries to remove bullet fragments. By the grace and mercy of Allah (SWT), he has made progress and transferred to the rehab facility, after a month in ICU. We are extremely grateful to Allah (SWT) for sparing his life and the dua'as of our brothers and sisters.

The incident also causes his arms to be non-weight bearing. Ahmad has a long recovery ahead of him with rehabilitation. He will remain in emotional and physical recovery for an unknown amount of time with the possibility of future surgeries, physical therapy, and emotional support.

So we are humbly asking for donations to contribute to medical costs, absence from work, food, and all the other incurred expenses, but mostly asking for all of your continued prayers during this hard time. God willing, Ahmad will be stronger than ever!
