My name is Anas Tawfik, and I live in Canada. I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Ahmed, a devoted father in Gaza, separated from his wife and five children, who are now displaced in Egypt. This campaign aims to help his family survive and support Ahmed in rebuilding the life that war has torn apart.

The Story:

When war ravaged Gaza, Ahmed faced an unbearable choice: stay behind, or flee with his family.

He chose to stay — to protect what little was left of their home and dignity — while his wife and five children escaped to Egypt, seeking safety and urgent medical care for one of the children.

Now, his family is stranded in a foreign country, struggling with no food, no stable shelter, and no basic necessities.

Meanwhile, Ahmed is alone in Gaza, living among the rubble of their destroyed home.

Before the war, Ahmed worked humbly and honestly to provide for his family. Their home was filled with warmth, love, and hope.

Today, that home is gone. Their lives shattered. Their hearts divided.

But even in this darkness, Ahmed hasn’t lost hope. He doesn’t dream of survival alone — he dreams of rebuilding, of returning to his family, of holding his children again when it's finally safe.
