My name is Ahmad Qadada, a survivor of 6 brutal aggressions and I hope I will survive this current one. I’m writing to you while my heart is overwhelmed with sadness, despair and being helpless to make my family at least feel safe. As you might know, the Gaza Strip has been under heavy bombardments and air strikes that claimed thousands of innocent lives, destroyed hundreds of residential houses, and ruined our dreams and aspirations. Gaza is no longer a city of hope and life. There’s no future that one can bear to imagine.

I am the fifth to four siblings and my widowed mother who has been suffering from colon cancer since 2020. Every time a bomb drops near our tent, my mother gets terrified to death from the horrifying sounds of air strikes. Being unable to make my mother feel safe every time a bomb drops, I remember that I am not able to make my fiancé feel satisfied with our marriage that supposed to be held at Garden Beach, which was booked on November 15th, 2023 based off my fiancé’s request. After October 7th, 2023, I was forced to evacuate from Gaza city to the south of the Strip because I was desperate to find her chemotherapy that was not available in the north, leaving behind my fiancé stuck along with her family until I finally got the chance to get her back after a few months being away from me.

Currently, twelve and I are living in small-size tent in the middle area of the Gaza Strip after we evacuated for the 9th time. Every evacuation was a different type of suffering that was unimaginable.

Because I believe that your support matters as it will help me escape from the danger and horror of this brutal aggression, I decided to do this campaign for three reasons: helping my mother feel safe and get her medical care, ensuring the safety of my siblings and their children, and being able to finally get married and feel satisfied with my future wife.
