It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved papá and abuelo,

Agustin Cuamatzin Vega

a husband, father, brother, and grandfather. On Friday, May 2nd,

2025, he left us far too soon. Though he faced many months of hardship and countless hospital

stays while undergoing dialysis, he never let go of his kindness or his smile. Beneath the

“grumpy” exterior was a soul that radiated warmth, love, and humor. His laughter could brighten

even the darkest days.

While we mourn deeply, we also find comfort in knowing that he is finally at peace — free from

pain, and surrounded by loved ones who have passed before him.

Before leaving us, Agustin made one simple, heartfelt request:

“He asked to return home to rest beside his parents in Mexico”

We are asking for your support to help honor his final wish. Our goal is to send his wife — our

loving mother, grandmother, and sister — to Mexico so she can carry his ashes home and

complete this sacred journey for him.

Life without him has been incredibly difficult for her and for all of us. Any contribution, big or

small, will make a meaningful difference as we work to fulfill his last request and bring him

home.
