Please Help My Son Stay Alive and Keep Fighting

Agustin is just 12 years old

Instead of worrying about school or playing with friends, he is fighting Autoimmune Hemolytic Anemia — a rare disease where his own immune system destroys his red blood cells.

I have watched my son become pale and weak. I have held his hand in hospital rooms not knowing what the next test result would bring. He has been hospitalized twice. He takes strong medications. He faces needles, treatments, and uncertainty with a bravery no child should ever have to show.

As his mother, there is nothing more painful than feeling helpless while your child suffers.

We are doing everything possible to keep him stable, but the medical costs, transportation, medications, and lost work time are overwhelming us.
