Help Agnes Beat Breast Cancer

On November 8th while driving home from work, our dear friend Agnes received a phone call from her doctor that changed her life forever. The lump that she had found in her breast was cancer. Determined to do everything she could to beat cancer, she dove right into doctor’s appointments, biopsies, and scans at Dana Farber. Diagnosed with Stage 3 HER2 positive breast cancer, an aggressive form of cancer, Agnes faces many months of treatments. She began a rigorous chemotherapy protocol on 12/22/23 and she fell ill shortly after Christmas. Worried for her wellbeing, her fiance Matt rushed her to South Shore Hospital where she was admitted for 9 days with severe pneumonia, celebrating the New Year from her hospital bed.

Agnes faces an uphill battle in 2024. Completing her 4th round of TCHP chemo this past week, she will need at least 2 more rounds of chemo. This May she will undergo surgery for a double mastectomy and in the summer she will begin radiation treatment.

Agnes is a fiercely private person who is tough as nails, but she and her family need our help and support in this fight.
