Please help Aggi give Adam her kidney

Donation protected

Adam and Aggi moved to the US from Poland as teenagers and have worked over the last 20+ years to build the quintessential love story and American Dream. They are truly two of the sweetest and hardest working people I know. When they first got to the US, they started a cleaning business to pay their bills and help them learn to speak English. From there, they studied photography and opened a wedding photography business. Named the #1 wedding photographer in Florida on The Knot for several years running, they have never wanted to raise their prices because they so appreciate having the opportunity to work and stay busy. They love all of their brides and grooms and treat them like family! Adam is a perfectionist so it is no surprise that his photography has earned so many accolades. They got married a few years ago and were hoping to start a family but, shortly after his 40th birthday, Adam's chronic congenital kidney issues became acute and he had to start dialysis. Still they did not slow down or stop, with him taking his dialysis overnight so that they could continue to keep their busy schedule trying to make up for all of the business lost over the past year due to COVID. Unfortunately, the dialysis was not enough and now he needs a transplant. He was told he might have to wait five years or more to get a donor, so Aggi wanted to see if she could donate one of her kidneys to him. Turns out they truly are a match made in Heaven! On July 14th, they will both undergo surgery to take one of Aggi's kidneys to be transplanted into Adam. They will both be out of work for at least 3 months and it may even be longer because Adam will not be able to be in large crowds until he is through the possible rejection period. They have insurance but everything is not covered. The anti-rejection medicines are expensive ($5-6K per month for at least three months) and they will need money to live while they are both recovering and unable to work. Please consider a donation of any size to help this sweet couple share their kidneys and continue building on their American dream and love story!
