It's with great joy that I reach out to share an opportunity to support an incredible writer on the next step of her journey.

I first met AG at a soul work retreat many years ago. After a deeply powerful week together, we sat in our closing circle. I remember AG walking to the center of that circle, opening her notebook, and beginning to read. It was a moment I will never forget—a witnessing of someone stepping fully into her deepest truth, her soul's purpose on this earth. I sat there with tears streaming down my face, my heart full of joy to know this extraordinary person and hear the words she was offering to the world.

In this moment of upheaval, uncertainty, and deep change, I believe art becomes more important than ever. Art doesn’t just reflect the world—it reshapes it. In stories, we are moved and transformed, touched by something deeper and larger than ourselves. We need artists who gift us not only with beauty, but with the brave exploration of what it means to be human.

That’s the kind of writer A.G. Angevine is.

AG is a queer speculative fiction writer, actor, podcaster, and creative spirit based in the Pacific Northwest. With a Master’s in Creative Writing from the Attic Institute of Arts and Letters and a background in Theatre Arts and Shakespeare Studies, A.G. brings rare insight and emotional depth to every piece she creates.

Her stories emerge from a deeply soulful space. They speak to something real and resonant in all of us—grief and resilience, identity and transformation, love and liberation.

This fundraiser will help send A.G. on a transformative writing retreat: the Writing Excuses Cruise, a professional development experience designed to nurture and elevate genre writers. This is more than a chance to write—it’s a rare opportunity for focused creative growth, mentorship, and community. It’s a chance to deepen the work AG is already doing—work our world needs now more than ever.
