- My sister-in-law has suffered a devastating loss today. A fallen tree destroyed her home, resulting in the tragic death of her friend who was sleeping in the bedroom. She has lost all her personal belongings, managing to salvage only some clothing and her cat. Currently, she is residing in hotels until she secures an apartment and requires assistance with affording essential items such as hygiene products, cat food, and additional clothing, as she was unable to retrieve much from her home. Furthermore, when she obtains her new apartment, she will not be able to furnish it, and therefore, we are seeking any possible support. We appreciate the community's kindness and thoughtfulness during this challenging time, and we are grateful for all the prayers.
