On May 1, 2026, my husband underwent back surgery at Mercy Hospital. While we hoped this would be the start of his recovery, he soon suffered a severe gallbladder attack. The infection and inflammation were so serious that doctors had to place a drainage tube, and he will need another surgery to remove his gallbladder once he is well enough. This has made him extremely sick and added to the challenges we are facing. Once he is released from the hospital, he will be going to rehab to continue his recovery.
I am the only one working in our household, as my husband was already disabled from two previous back surgeries. Now, I am commuting back and forth to Mercy Hospital to be with him, while also trying to keep up with my job. Unfortunately, I have used all my paid leave, so every day I take off to care for him is a day without pay. The financial strain is growing, with medical expenses, travel costs, and everyday bills piling up.
Your support during this difficult time would mean the world to us. Anything you can give will help us cover medical bills, travel and rehab expenses, and keep up with our household needs while I am unable to work. Thank you so much for your donations—your kindness means so much to me and my family. May God bless you as He blesses us every day.
