During this difficult time, my fiancé and I are facing the sudden loss of his father, who passed away unexpectedly just four days ago. I was his caregiver and grew very close to him, and we did everything we could to save him and keep him with us. The grief has been overwhelming, and on top of that, my fiancé found out he no longer has social security benefits—the same day he lost his father and best friend. This has left us in a very tough spot, struggling to cover funeral expenses, rent, utilities, food, and our car payment. We both only have part-time work, and we simply don't have the funds to manage all these urgent needs on our own. We also have three dogs who depend on us, and we want to make sure we can keep our family together and maintain some stability during this heartbreaking time.
