On October 31st I fell 15ft off of my porch. I ended up with 4 severe fractures to my pelvic bone, broke my tail bone, and a laceration on my liver. I was transported to harbor view hospital, spent a few days in ICU. Had a surgery to put what is called an ex-fix ( screws inside me with an external rod) in to hold my pelvis together and will have it for the next 7 weeks, then will need surgery to remove it. I can not put any weight on my left leg, or side, and can not work for at least the next 2 months. I'm a single mother of a beautiful and amazing 16 year old daughter, and now have no way to work to support her, myself and pay the bills. I truly don't know what to do, or how we will keep our apartment that I worked so hard to get. We desperately need help. I was just released yesterday 11/10/17 from the hospital and on top of not being able to work to support us, I have to find a way to by medical equipment to do things like simply shower. I hate asking for help, it's embarrassing and humbling. But I truly need it. PLEASE help, anyway you can, even a small amount will add up and help, and please share.
