Early on April 1, 2026, while driving to work, I was involved in a rollover wreck. It seems a tire blew, causing the truck to fishtail and the rear tire to drop off the narrow two-lane road I was on. The end result was sliding into a concrete culvert, causing the truck to flip into the air then roll down the embankment, landing upside down on the cab. Luckily, I was held in the seat with my seatbelt, although the cab was flattened to the level of the truck bed.
I was transported to a local hospital where they realized I had to be air-flighted to a trauma center due to the extensive injuries I sustained: head injury, brain bleed, numerous fractures in my neck, lower back, chest, shoulder, some deep lacerations, and hematomas.
I spent several days in the trauma center.
Because of the extent of my injuries, I will not be able to return to work as a corrections officer for a while. My income depends heavily on my physical wellness and will not be restored for a few months. Unfortunately, I have to replace my vehicle since I only had liability on my old wrecked 2003 truck. I also have a very large medical bill that isn't covered by my insurance. I am asking for help in meeting my financial needs. Your support will go towards a down payment on another vehicle and medical expenses.
The cost of the air flight, ambulance and the medical deductible not covered by insurance is almost insurmountable.
