Help After Retaliation & Job Loss

Donation protected
After working hard and doing the right thing by reporting sexual harassment at my workplace, I found myself facing retaliation. Even though companies say there’s no retaliation, unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience. The person I reported eventually lost her job for a different reason, but the company soon found a bogus reason to let me go. It’s been devastating, and it’s the very definition of retaliation.

Now, I’m struggling to keep up with my mortgage, bills, and medical expenses while I wait for disability assistance to come through. I’ve been applying for new jobs and hope to work part-time if my health allows, but right now, I have nothing coming in. My husband is also on social security disability, so our household income is extremely limited. Living with fibromyalgia makes this even more stressful, and the uncertainty is overwhelming.

Any support you can offer would mean the world to us. Your kindness can help us keep our home, cover essential bills, and get through this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for reading my story and considering a donation. Your support gives us hope for a brighter future.
