Lets help Brendi after his apartment caught fire

Hi, my name is Paloma and I’m fundraising for Brendan Winick, my friends Terry’s son.

Brendi lost almost everything past week when his apartment caught fire in Crown Heights- Brooklyn NY (you can check the incident in the video attached).

It was a major fire, and moved very fast up all 4 floors of the building. Luckily, it happened in the early evening when people were awake and could get out quickly. He said he smelled smoke and went to the kitchen to check and moments later, couldn't see a thing, the smoke was so dark and thick.. Thankfully he got out pretty quickly, Leo his cat had to be rescued by firefighters.

He is living in a Red-Cross supplied hotel for a few days, but soon he need to figure out where to stay and a way to buy clothes and something for a new place as he lost almost everything.

Also the vet bill for his cat Leo, who needed to be hospitalized after the incident, is $2500.

Brendan is full time in grad school at FIT in NY in Illustration. He's only been working part time, and after the trauma of the fire sounds impossible to figure out a way to afford everything to restart.
