Hi my name is Anna,

On Monday 29th December, just a few short days after Christmas, our family’s world was turned upside down.

My daughter and son-in-law lost their home in a devastating fire. In a matter of moments, everything they owned was gone — along with something that can never be replaced: their three beloved cats (Tiggs, Tiny and Bella), who were part of their family and deeply loved. The pain of losing pets in such a sudden and tragic way is unimaginable, and it has left a hole in their hearts that words cannot fully describe.

Christmas should have been a time of warmth, comfort, and new beginnings. Instead, only days later, they were faced with shock, grief, and the reality that they no longer have a home to return to. What should have been a season of hope has become one of heartbreak.

Now, they are not only mourning the loss of their precious cats, but also facing the overwhelming challenge of having to find somewhere new to live, rebuild their lives from nothing, and replace the most basic necessities. Clothes, furniture, memories — all gone in the fire. The emotional and financial weight of this is enormous, and no one should have to carry it alone.

I am creating this fundraiser to support them during the darkest moment of their lives. Any donation, no matter how small, will help them take the first steps toward stability — securing a new place to live, replacing essentials, and beginning the long journey of healing after such a tragic loss.
