Today, my life and my family's world changed forever. Our home caught fire, and in the chaos and heartbreak, we lost my 16-year-old nephew. The pain of losing him is indescribable, and now my family and I are left without a place to call home. We are trying to process this tragedy while also figuring out how to meet our most basic needs in the days ahead.

We are currently displaced and facing the overwhelming challenge of finding shelter, food, and a way to honor my nephew's memory with a proper burial. The loss and uncertainty are heavy, but I know that with the support of our community, we can begin to rebuild and heal. Every bit of help will go directly toward providing my family with a safe place to stay, meals to get us through, and the means to lay my nephew to rest with dignity.
