Help After Hospitalization and Loss

Donation protected

Hey, so I'm deciding to take this route. I'm not happy I have to do this; it's been years since I've had to make some kind of GoFundMe for anything. This time it's because my body just decided to turn against itself.

You guys know me as the little pastel-loving, bunny-loving nerd artist. What I don't really think many know is my story from this past year and why I want to at least start this year better than the last.

I'm currently facing some financial distress. I have back-rent for the month up to 1k because in December I was hospitalized for a collapsed lung for the second time this year.

Directly after, I got bronchitis and was unable to work. With having precancer, recovery and returning to work at the pace I used to just isn't doing me well. I may work from home (I help children going into foster care, getting them supplies they need via donation/nonprofit. For reasons due to a stalker ex and his friends, I cannot say the organization's name for fear of them trying to contact them).

I've already had a lot happen this year. In September, I was the unfortunate victim of a car crash as a passenger, with some permanent effects to this day such as vision blur/loss in one eye, constant migraines, and short-term memory loss. Before that, I was homeless and couch surfing, and before that, I was the victim of domestic violence, where the man was even arrested for his sexual violence and holding me hostage against my will in November of 2023, where I lost everything I owned. (Sadly, he was bailed out because the justice system sucks, and he's been stalking me online and sending... interesting messages anonymously with his friends.)

I'm having a fucked up year.

I lost my emotional support kitty to FIP in December, who was with me this whole year and whom I got when I was with my abuser.

I've had to shoulder cremation burdens and an urn, which has also strained me. I don't have much help right now, even on SSI that's only about 900, but that'll barely cover ONE MONTH of rent (1435), let alone what I'm trying to make for back-rent right now. I was able to pay electric, if that, in an installment. I'm an artist, but commissions haven't been coming in, so I'm unfortunately asking for help.

I'm not asking for too much, at least I genuinely hope not. I can't feed myself currently.

I'm trying to find hopefully cheaper living, but I can't even afford the application with all this over my head.

I'm trying to make the remainder of December's leftover back-rent (about 1k?)

and the remainder of January's (6-700, it tends to vary).

ANY help, even just spreading, would be appreciated. Thank you.
