Struggling After Heart Attack Job Loss

I was let go from my job in mid-February because I had a heart attack and lost too many days of work. I am still healing from it and looking for work, though my cardiologist says I should not go back to work as it requires a lot of stress and strain on my heart. Breathing is difficult, and I get fatigued. My blood pressure drops easily and causes dizziness. Unemployment has not kicked in, and I don't know when or if it will. Please, we need help.
