While I was out delivering for DoorDash, something happened that changed my life forever. I was making a delivery to a teenage girl when suddenly, I found myself caught in the middle of a crossfire. I was shot in the face, and in that terrifying moment, I had to pull the teen girl into my car to shield her from the bullets. The experience left me not only physically injured but also deeply shaken, and my car was damaged by the gunfire as well.

Since that day, I have been struggling to recover both mentally and physically. The medical bills are piling up, and I need ongoing therapy and chiropractic care to heal. On top of that, my car—my main source of income—was badly damaged and needs repairs before I can get back to work. It’s been overwhelming trying to manage everything on my own.
