I recently got into a car accident where I was forced off the highway by another driver that kept going and did not stop. They did not hit me, but forced me off the road and into a side barrier as I was trying to avoid a collision. My car was considered a total loss and even if my insurance company finds who caused it, there is no hope of saving my car. Since we don't know who did it, I have to pay for a replacement vehicle, which is an expensive prospect. My insurance company on the liability end has yet to look at my claim and request the police report or camera footage that I am not able to request on my own. Because of that, I have no idea if I will be able to get money from the person who caused or of we even be able to find them.
As a college student who commutes to college and my job, having a vehicle is a very important thing to ensure I can continue to finance my college education and basic life needs. I am going into my senior year with a double major in Acting and Arts Management. Without a car, I would not be able to finish off my education that I so greatly enjoy getting to do and brings me great joy and gratification in my life.
Any amount that you can spare would be so gratefully beneficial. I hate having to ask for money, but with the circumstances being what they are, I don't have many options. Thank you for reading this far and for any support (verbal or monetary) you can provide.
