On December 23, 2025, I had to rush my sweet senior Pittie, Bubs, to the vet. For the past 2 years he had been struggling with an inoperable tumor, and his body just gave up. A large wound had opened on the front of his mass and I was left with 2 choices: humane euthanasia or letting him pass naturally over time through blood loss and pain. I chose to help him pass with dignity, grace, and without any more suffering. It was the hardest thing I've ever had to do, and emotionally I am just gutted. I didn't qualify for CareCredit or have time to take out a small loan, so everything was completely out of pocket as well. The cost of the procedure with cremation was over $550.

Unfortunately, the timing of this couldn't have been worse. We're seeing a very very slow off season for tattooing, and my rent was increased by $600 from November to December at the start of my new lease this year. It has previously been $1900 a month and now is $2500. I live alone and agreed to it solely to not have to move my senior animals, specifically poor Bubs.

Bubbles' bill has been taken care of, but it has left me in a huge financial bind, as that was all the savings I could muster. I know times are tough for everyone, and I have 3 other pups and a farm to hold down. Any little bit of help is appreciated, and I am more than willing to use funds towards tattoo deposits or art commissions.
