It's with a heavy heart that I have started this fund raiser. I wasn't going to but I was asked to, so here we are.

My beautiful boy Bears life was stolen from he and us.

Monday a week ago we had to go to the vet, normally we don't go as bear has always been healthy, but because we needed a prescription for Synovan for bears arthritis we had no choice as the vet "needed to see the patient" so we went.

It was there our vet convinced us to use this "safe" product with little side effects, all we were told was thirst and peeing could be possible.

My mistake, I trusted my vet who's been treating all of our animals including cows and sheep for almost a decade.

Bear started vomiting about an hour and a half later, I phoned the vet saying I thought he was having an adverse reaction to which I was told NO vomiting is not a reaction to the drug. I later found out it definitely is.

I won't go into detail, crying as I type this, my boy suffered, it was so cruel and inhumane what happened to him that night but he held on.

We went to another vet late that night and Bear went back to her the next day, she was surprised he made it through the night.

Bear wanted to live but he was going into organ failure and was paralysed so I had to let him go.

This has hit me so hard, we lost our penny girl back in January, she was Bears life partner, essentially his wife. We got him through his grief only to have him snatched from us in less than 24 hours

I have spoken to the drug manufacturer about paying his vet bills and his cremation bills but I'm yet to hear back. All the bills came today, everyone with their hands out not just vets and I've found myself in a position where I have to triage my bills because I am not risking not getting Bear back from the beautiful people at the pet funeral home.

Anyway, that's the short of it. I've joined a class action in memory of bear, I will fight for him and every other fur baby that's been taken by that horrible toxic cocktail and I will fight to have this drug properly labeled so no one has to go through what Bear and we went through

Any funds remaining after everything is paid for will go towards feed for the cows, sheep and Terry Lamb x
