Hi, my name is Jasna Thompson, and I’m asking for help during a very difficult time.
Not long ago, I purchased a diesel vehicle because it was my only option for reliable transportation. Unfortunately, soon after buying it, the car developed serious mechanical issues. After paying for a diagnostic, I was told the repairs would cost over $7,000, far beyond what I could afford.
I tried to work with the dealer and manufacturer, but I wasn’t able to get assistance. With no realistic way to cover the repairs, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to voluntarily surrender the vehicle. I’m now left without transportation, with damage to my credit, and still owing on a car that no longer runs.
This vehicle was essential for getting to work, and without it, I lost my job. Right now, I’m doing everything I can to rebuild, but I’m facing the combined challenges of lost income, unexpected expenses, and no reliable way to get around.
I’ve set a goal of $2,600 to help cover transportation and basic living expenses while I search for new employment and work toward stability again.
Any support, no matter the amount means more than I can express. If you’re not able to donate, sharing this would truly help.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can give. I will continue to provide updates as I work to get back on my feet.
