Hello family and friends, I never imagined I would be in a position to write something like this, but I’m facing a very difficult situation and could truly use your help. On Friday, April 17th, I was involved in a serious head-on collision. I was making a turn at an intersection when a speeding driver struck me directly. As a result, I suffered a broken left hand, and my car was completely totaled. To make matters even harder, the other driver did not have a license or insurance. That same evening, I had to undergo surgery. Because of the severity of the break, doctors had to insert a metal bar from my hand into my forearm to keep my wrist from moving while it heals.
As many of you know, I’m a barber—working with my hands is how I provide for my family. Right now, I’m unable to work, and I will be out for some time. To add to this, I will need another surgery in a couple of months to remove the bar, which means even more time away from work and a longer recovery. As a single father of two boys, this has been incredibly overwhelming. Without a car and without the ability to work, the bills are beginning to pile up. I’ve already used most of my savings trying to stay afloat, and I’m doing everything I can to make what’s left stretch.
If you’re able to support us in any way, no matter how small, it would mean more than I can put into words. My family and I are deeply grateful for your kindness, your support, and your prayers during this time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there for us when we need it most.
